Services
Geospatial data science for organisations whose decisions depend on location — real estate and private equity, energy and infrastructure, insurance, and economics teams. Three ways to work with me, from a two-week screening to a standing data partnership.
Geospatial Feasibility Screening
Fixed fee: €7,500 · Two weeks · One question
Most geospatial projects fail before they start: the data can't answer the question, the licences don't allow the use, or the signal is too weak to act on. Finding that out after six months and six figures is the expensive way. This is the cheap way.
You bring one question. In two weeks you get:
A data-readiness audit — your relevant data, the open and commercial data that would fill the gaps, with licensing and GDPR flags on every source.
A working proof-of-concept — a small analysis on a sample of your data or on open data, enough to show the signal exists (or doesn't). Notebook and maps, not a product.
A written verdict and roadmap — feasible, feasible with caveats, or not feasible; what a real build would cost in time, data and money; the recommended next step.
A one-hour handover call.
If the answer is "don't build this," that is the deliverable working as intended.
What it isn't: production pipelines, dashboards or deployed models; data purchases (you buy, I advise what to buy); ongoing support beyond the handover; a guaranteed positive verdict.
I've done this screening work for a leading global economics consultancy and for an investment fund's site-screening question. This is the same work at a fixed price with a fixed clock. I take at most one screening per month.
Variants of the same screening, same price: crop-phenology screening (can satellite time series track crop stage, health or anomaly for your regions?) and infrastructure-siting screening (which candidate sites or corridors survive a spatial constraints-and-access analysis?).
Start with the two questions
To get a fast reply, tell me (1) the decision this analysis should inform and who makes it, and (2) your timeline and budget range. I don't quote or take calls without both.
Production GeoAI Pipelines
Recurring data deliveries · Monthly or annual refresh · Priced per market
Satellite- and open-data-derived signals delivered as versioned datasets your team can build on: construction activity, building stock, land use, accessibility. Each delivery ships as GeoParquet with a schema document and a short interpretation note, so the data arrives with its caveats attached.
Construction activity — satellite-verified started / active / stalled / completed at parcel level, refreshed monthly, validated against official registers where they exist and sold where they don't.
Building stock and land use — footprint-level features aggregated to H3 hexagons, multi-vintage, for the markets you name.
Accessibility and catchment — network-based reach and persona-weighted access layers for European metros.
Every method comes with a published validation — precision and recall against ground truth, with the failure modes stated — so you can check the number before you rely on it.
Retained Analytics Partnership
Annual · Recurring deliveries plus methodology support
The model my anchor clients use: a standing engagement where I maintain and refresh the datasets your products depend on, extend them as your questions change, and stay available to your team for the methodology behind them. Scoped to your markets and cadence, invoiced annually.
This is for organisations that already know location data moves their decisions and want it maintained by the person who built it, rather than a one-off project that goes stale.
Who this is for
I take a small number of institutional clients. Not for student projects, outsourcing partnerships, thesis help, or equity-only work.
All engagements are delivered by Geospatial Data Consulting Kft., Budapest — EU-VAT registered, cross-border invoicing, reverse-charge for EU business clients. Engagements are for internal use; derived analysis is yours to use and publish, the underlying datasets are not for redistribution.
